Mroz, R. Poleski, S. Kozlowski, K. Ulaczyk, K. Rybicki, P. Iwanek and M. Wrona ======================================================================= udalski@astrouw.edu.pl This directory contains the OGLE collection of type II Cepheids in the Galactic disk fields. The directory structure is as follows: README - this file ident.dat - identification of stars. Please note that all type II Cepheid candidates: OGLE-GD-T2CEP-0001 - OGLE-GD-T2CEP-0006 (Pietrukowicz et al. 2013) turned out to be spotted stars. Nevertheless we keep numbering for historical reasons. t2cep.dat - parameters of type II Cepheids phot/I/ - I-band photometry of individual objects phot/V/ - V-band photometry of individual objects phot.tar.gz - gzipped phot/ directory fcharts/ - finding charts of individual objects remarks.txt - remarks on selected objects gc.dat - objects located within one tidal radius of globular clusters pap1.pdf - PDF version of the paper Udalski et al. (2018), Acta Astron. 68, 315, (arXiv:1810.09489) describing the collection pap2.pdf - PDF version of the paper Soszynski et al. (2020), Acta Astron. 70, 101 (arXiv:2007.07255), describing the extension of the collection. Format of the file ident.dat: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Description -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 18 A18 --- Star's ID 21- 25 A5 --- Subtype of type II Cepheids 28- 29 I2 h Right ascension, equinox J2000.0 (hours) 31- 32 I2 m Right ascension, equinox J2000.0 (minutes) 34- 38 F5.2 s Right ascension, equinox J2000.0 (seconds) 40 A1 --- Declination, equinox J2000.0 (sign) 41- 42 I2 deg Declination, equinox J2000.0 (degrees) 44- 45 I2 arcmin Declination, equinox J2000.0 (arc minutes) 47- 50 F4.1 arcsec Declination, equinox J2000.0 (arc seconds) 53- 68 A16 --- OGLE-IV ID 70- 84 A15 --- OGLE-III ID 86-100 A15 --- OGLE-II ID 102- A --- Other designation (from VSX) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Format of the file t2cep.dat: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Description -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 18 A18 --- Star's ID 21- 26 F6.3 mag Intensity mean I-band magnitude 28- 33 F6.3 mag Intensity mean V-band magnitude 36- 45 F10.7 days Period 47- 55 F9.7 days Uncertainty of period 58- 69 F12.4 days Time of maximum brightness (HJD) 72- 76 F5.3 mag I-band amplitude (maximum-minimum) 79- 83 F5.3 --- Fourier coefficient R_21 85- 89 F5.3 --- Fourier coefficient phi_21 92- 96 F5.3 --- Fourier coefficient R_31 98-102 F5.3 --- Fourier coefficient phi_31 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Format of the files with photometry (phot/I/OGLE-GD-T2CEP-NNNN.dat, phot/V/OGLE-GD-T2CEP-NNNN.dat) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Description -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 13 F13.5 days Heliocentric Julian Day 15- 20 F6.3 mag Magnitude 22- 26 F5.3 mag Uncertainty of magnitude -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finding charts are gzipped Postscript images. The names of the files are in the form: ID.ps.gz. The finding charts are 60"x60" subframes of the I-band reference frames centered on the star. White cross marks the star. North is up and East to the left. Any presentation of the scientific analysis or usage of the data from the catalog of type II Cepheids in the Magellanic Clouds should include the appropriate reference(s) to OGLE paper(s). Updates: 2020-07-16 145 additional type II Cepheids (from OGLE-GD-T2CEP-0177 to OGLE-GD-T2CEP-0321; Soszynski et al. 2020, Acta Astron. 70, 101) 2022-08-20 14 additional type II Cepheids from the Gaia DR3 catalog and other sources (from OGLE-GD-T2CEP-0322 to OGLE-GD-T2CEP-0335) 2024-03-26 - Update of the OGLE-IV light curves with new data points collected until February 2024. - The observation epochs are now provided in the format of full Heliocentric Julian Days. - 12 stars have been reclassified as spotted variable stars and removed from the Collection.
