Doubly eclipsing quadruple systems
Streszczenie:
Quadruples with the 2+2 structure are currently of great scientific interest.
This unique group allows us to study both eclipsing stellar pairs in detail.
With their growing numbers, we can study their statistical properties as well.
Photometric surveys and satellites, including TESS, OGLE, and others, provide
an excellent opportunity to detect new doubly eclipsing candidates. A
combination of many photometric sources together with new specific measurements
can lead to confirmation of the candidate as a quadruple star with two
eclipsing binaries. New confirmed candidates and the period analysis made by
the Squadra research group will be presented.
